Today we flew from Melbourne to Auckland. The 3am start was a bit rough but the quiet roads and lack of queues at the airport made up for it. We had a problem free trip (even though we didn't get the hire car we expected. Ian wasn't happy about that).
We are staying at the Adina Apartment Hotel which we have used in many of our trips. When you are travelling with a family, there is nothing like having kitchen facilities and all the comfort of a small apartment. Of course, like many Adinas around the world, this one is located in a very industrial part of town. So we don't have any scenic shots to share from today. Nevertheless, we are happy to have arrived and set up for a full day in Auckland tomorrow.
Glad you had a hassle free trip. Well apart from car but Ian- get over it!!
